The author of this guide is known as LS21 and has been playing Warframe for about a year now. He made a guide that lists where to find all the alloy plates in the game right now, broken down by planet and then into its individual missions. The first section is dedicated entirely to the Void tileset, which comprises a good chunk of the featured items. There are other sections for Mercury, Venus and Mars as well. In order to obtain alloy plates, you need to complete certain missions that feature an end-of-mission drop of alloy plates. Alloy plates are used almost exclusively by the Arcane Enhancement system. There are other resources that can be farmed, but not in large quantity like alloy plates.
Farm alloy plates in the
Asteroid Field node on Ceres (Void Tileset)
This mission can be played solo.
When you first start, you will spawn outside of the asteroid belt. Inside the
belt are asteroids; kill enemies to fill up your progress bar and then go into
one of the cave openings that lead into the large open area with pyramids in
it. It's recommended to play this mission with a sentinel equipped with Thief's
Wit, Security Sights and/or Enemy Radar. Make your way inside the open area by
jumping over the large rocks.
Farm alloy plates in the Moon
Field node on Earth (Void Tileset)
This mission is best run with a team
of four, but it can be done solo. You will spawn in one of the corners and
you'll need to fight your way down to the middle area. The map layout is
randomly generated and consists of round walls that must be jumped over and
large rectangular walls that can be run through. You will get a warning on your
screen when the drop ship is about to leave and you must hurry before it does
so. It's recommended to play this mission with a sentinel equipped with Thief's
Wit and/or Security Sights.
Farm alloy plates in the
Martian Field node on Mars (Void Tileset)
This mission is best run with a team
of four, but it can be done solo. You spawn right next to the cache and there
are three caches total. The map layout is randomly generated and consists of
large blue/red rocks that must be jumped over or underneath. Some of these
rocks might be surrounded by a green force field, which you must destroy to
move them out of the way. It's recommended to play this mission with a sentinel
equipped with Thief's Wit and/or Security Sights.
Farm alloy plates in the
Saturnian Field node on Phobos (Void Tileset)
This mission is best run with a team
of four, but it can be done solo. You will spawn in an underground cave area
and when you climb the big stairs outside you will see an Archwing cache to
your right. Once you get near it, a large Corpus ship will fly by and drop off
units/boss units. The map layout is randomly generated and consists of large
rocks that must be jumped over or underneath, but the terrain is flat so there
are no stairs to jump over. Just keep moving towards the cache while killing
enemies until you get to the Archwing cache.
Farm alloy plates in the
Jovian Field node on Saturn (Void Tileset)
This mission is best run with a team
of four, but it can be done solo. You will start near the cache and there are
three caches total. The map layout is randomly generated and consists of large
rocks that must be jumped over or underneath. Some of these rocks might be
surrounded by a green force field, which you must destroy to move them out of
the way. It's recommended to play this mission with a sentinel equipped with
Thief's Wit and/or Security Sights.
